Water infrastructure project
When municipalities and government agencies need infrastructure they can depend on for decades, they call contractors with the track record to deliver. That's what we've been doing for 20 years — and why our clients come back project after project.
Our comprehensive safety program exceeds industry standards. Every team member is trained, certified, and committed to zero incidents on every job site.
Water and wastewater is what we know. Our focused expertise means we understand the unique challenges, codes, and quality standards these projects demand.
Our people are our greatest asset. Skilled tradespeople with years of experience on complex infrastructure projects — not a rotating door of subcontractors.
We understand that infrastructure delays have real consequences for communities. Our project management ensures milestones are hit and budgets are respected.
Headquartered in Penticton, we serve communities throughout the South Okanagan and across British Columbia. Our central location allows us to efficiently deploy crews and equipment to projects throughout the region.
Whether you're planning a new facility or upgrading existing infrastructure, our team is ready to bring the expertise your project demands.

"Cumming Construction delivered our water treatment plant upgrade on schedule and within budget — no small feat given the complexity of the mechanical systems involved. Their crew was professional, communicated proactively throughout, and met every milestone we set. They're the first call for our next infrastructure project."
Karen Whitfield
Project Manager, City of Penticton
"The quality of Cumming's concrete forming is consistently excellent. On the Naramata water system upgrades, their tolerances were tight, their formwork was clean, and they understood the engineering requirements without needing hand-holding. Exactly what you want from a contractor on public infrastructure."
Dave McKenna
Infrastructure Engineer, Regional District of Okanagan-Similkameen
"We brought Cumming Construction in for the concrete and mechanical scope on a mixed-use development in Summerland. Their coordination with our other trades was seamless — Tom's team understands how to work within a bigger project without creating bottlenecks. I'd hire them again without hesitation."
Sandra Horwath
Principal, Lakeview Development Group
"We've worked with Cumming Construction on three reservoir projects over the past decade. Their safety record is outstanding — zero lost-time incidents on our sites — and their crews are some of the most professional we've encountered. When it's critical infrastructure, reliability isn't optional. Tom's team delivers it."
Rob Pollock
Director of Operations, District of Summerland
"As the consulting engineer on several Okanagan water system projects, I've reviewed a lot of contractors' work. Cumming Construction stands out for their attention to detail on concrete placement and their understanding of what it takes to build a structure that'll perform for 50-plus years. Their design-build approach saved us significant time on the Oliver pump station project."
