Poly-B (polybutylene) is a grey plastic pipe that was used in BC homes from the late 1970s to the mid-1990s. It's known for deteriorating from the inside out, causing pinhole leaks and flooding — often without warning. Many insurance companies now require or strongly recommend replacing it. We repipe homes with PEX, which is flexible, durable, and approved by all major insurers. If your home was built between 1978 and 1995, it's worth having us take a look.
